Job summary

UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics is seeking a Dangerous Goods & Radiation Protection Officer (RPO/RSO) to develop and oversee global DG and radiation safety programs within a fast-paced 3PL and time-critical courier environment.

The role ensures regulatory compliance for hazardous materials, radiopharmaceuticals, and Class 7 shipments across air, ground, and international routes, supporting onboarding and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Education required in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in dangerous goods compliance and radiopharmaceutical logistics.
• Familiarity with global shipping regulations and multi-modal transport.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex rules into operational guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead dangerous goods compliance program across all transport modes.
• Ensure adherence to IATA DGR, ICAO TI, IMDG, and 49 CFR.
• Design SOPs, work instructions, and packing/labeling standards.
• Provide guidance on classification, packaging, and documentation.
• Manage radiation protection program and incident response.
