Job summary

NetApp seeks a Global Cybersecurity Compliance Manager to lead an international team responsible for compliance, controls, and policy across the enterprise. You will partner with business units and leaders to verify and track adherence to NetApp policies, regulatory requirements, and audit needs.

The role directs audits, develops controls, escalates risks, and ensures evidence exists for customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, accounting, finance, CS, IS, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of GRC experience in tech or equivalent.
• Experience leading compliance, controls, policy, audit, or risk teams.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, NIST/ISO, DFARS, and related risk events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey risk to executives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence across distributed teams and cultures.
• Adaptable to dynamic regulatory and business environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of six compliance, controls, and policy professionals in Global Security.
• Perform HR responsibilities including performance reviews, development planning, and coaching.
• Lead control testing and compliance discussions against ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, CIS, etc.
• Oversee intake and response to customer cybersecurity questionnaires and due diligence.
• Collaborate with business units to scope, validate, and document control statements.
• Coordinate with internal/external audits, regulatory inquiries, and certification activities.
• Identify gaps and escalate risk and remediation ownership to senior leadership.
• Review customer and partner contracts for information security and compliance.
• Ensure policies, controls, and artifacts align with obligations and governance cadence.
