Qualifications

• 12+ years in communications, with cybersecurity or technical domain focus.
• Proven ability to shape narratives and secure meaningful media coverage.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and policy issues clearly.
• Experience advising senior leaders during high-visibility moments.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead global cybersecurity communications strategy from narrative to launches.
• Tell a differentiated story of OpenAI's cyber defense capabilities and responsible deployment.
• Lead communications for cybersecurity products, research, partnerships, and milestones.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated multichannel communications.
• Own media engagement and build relationships with top cybersecurity and policy press.
• Advise senior leadership on messaging, launches, and reputational issues.
• Translate technical decisions into clear communications and maintain messaging cadence.
