Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior Cyber Issues Analyst to join the Cyber Risk Management team.

You will drive remediation, evaluate control gaps, and influence risk decisions across the enterprise to strengthen cyber resilience. You will partner with technology, risk, compliance and audit to translate technical findings into clear business risk decisions, driving timely remediation and improved visibility into risk posture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security or cybersecurity risk management with proven remediation experience.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls, PCI DSS.
• Experience across privileged access, WAFs, vulnerability mgmt, network segmentation, encryption, cloud security and endpoint protection.
• GRC platforms experience (e.g., Archer) and ability to give defensible risk recommendations.
• Ability to translate technical cyber risk into business impact and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive cybersecurity issues toward timely resolution by influencing remediation owners and escalating emerging risks.
• Shape informed cyber risk decisions by evaluating control gaps, risk ratings, compensating controls and risk acceptance.
• Strengthen remediation outcomes by ensuring plans are technically sound, scoped properly and time-bound.
• Turn complex cyber risk into actionable insight for senior leaders and governance teams.
• Advance the Cyber Risk Management function using analytics, AI and automation to speed insights and improve issue management.
