Job summary

Zonos is seeking a Customs Entry Writer to join our growing customs brokerage team in St. George, UT. You'll prepare, review, file, monitor, and audit customs entries, coordinating with CBP and PGAs to resolve holds and documentation issues. The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and proactive communication with customers to keep shipments moving.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file customs entries, including Type 01, Type 11, and Type 13 entries.
• Work with filings such as ACAS and AMS.
• Review client manifest and shipment data for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Review HTS classifications under guidance of Licensed Customs Broker.
• Review invoices, packing lists, and supporting documents.
• Monitor entries through clearance and resolve errors or discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers to resolve missing or incorrect data.
• Monitor CBP and PGA holds and post-entry tasks with customers.
• Complete post-entry audits and address data or compliance issues.
• Identify recurring issues and communicate trends to the team.
• Suggest process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
