Job summary

SRC Technologies Group, Inc., headquartered in Springfield, MO, seeks an experienced engineer to advance electronics remanufacturing initiatives and new product development. You will collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Sourcing, Quality and Engineering to focus on engineering projects and material improvements.

The role supports APQP activities, cost analysis, pilot runs, and production introductions, with travel to customer sites and suppliers as needed to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electronics to a failed component level.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform development work on new products.
• Provide estimates of replacement frequency on all components for remanufacturing viability/costing.
• Assist in APQP, including cost quotations, development, pilot runs, and production introduction.
• Develop test methods and configure test equipment for Electronics products.
• Search for new materials, processes, and procedures to improve the product line.
• Collaborate with purchasing/materials to procure and sample new parts for evaluation.
• Implement product improvements with Process and Product Improvement Team or customer requests (reliability).
• Willing to travel domestically (5%) and internationally (1%).
• Support Open Book Management and ownership responsibilities.
