Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a senior procurement leader to oversee regional category management for Creative, Digital Production & Publishing, and Medical Education within Marketing Procurement. You will collaborate with Human Health partners and regional teams to shape global sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, driving value creation, and managing supplier relationships to deliver strategic savings and sustainable growth across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong background in procurement, marketing services and agency sourcing.
• Minimum 5 years in strategic procurement or related role with proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing supplier performance across global/regional scopes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic source plans across Marketing services categories.
• Lead RFIs/RFPs and drive supplier selection aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage cross-functional teams through the sourcing process and provide strategic oversight.
• Drive value creation, service delivery, digitalization and CSR initiatives in procurement.
• Sustain and develop supplier frameworks across stakeholders (Procurement, Business Partners, Suppliers).
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure alignment with business requirements.
