Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to lead product costing and inventory accounting across global manufacturing operations. You will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to deliver insights, controls, and analyses that drive informed decisions.

The role focuses on standard costing, inventory valuation, period-end close, and process improvements within a hybrid role based in Rosemont, IL, with some in-office collaboration days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide insights to business.
• Experience with Oracle-based systems and data warehouses (OBI preferred).
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update product costs in Oracle.
• Manage annual cost updates and overhead rate management.
• Reconcile inventory and support month-end close.
• Prepare reports and analyses for senior management.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT across facilities.
