Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of corporate trust and investment instruments.
• Thorough knowledge of account management, trust operations, project management, and legal regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of the applicable trust line of business, its products, processes, and related bank and regulatory regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Corporate Trust clients in collaboration with business development officers.
• Review and accept new client relationships based on policy.
• Provide quality service aligned with client needs, wants, and expectations.
• Collaborate with new business development staff as a partner.
• Identify risks and regulatory challenges and mitigate them.
• Coordinate operational changes within the unit.
• Possibly meet revenue, new business and expense targets.
• May manage and train staff to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with business development officers, responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Corporate Trust clients
• Reviews and accepts new client relationships based on business line account acceptance policies and procedures
• Provides quality service based on client needs, wants, and expectations
• Works closely with new business development staff, serving as a collaborative partner
• Identifies business risks and operational challenges and takes steps to mitigate risk
• Coordinates the development and implementation of operational changes within the unit
• May be responsible for meeting certain revenue, new business and expense goals
• May manage staff, hire new staff, and/or train staff to successfully meet business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically eight or more years of relevant experience
• Thorough knowledge of corporate trust and investment instruments
• Thorough knowledge of account management, trust operations, project management, and legal regulations
• Thorough knowledge of the applicable trust line of business, its products, processes, and related bank and regulatory regulations
• Ability to develop new business
• Effective management skills to include planning, budgeting, and people management
• Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
• Ability to communicate quickly with clients to resolve client issues and disputes
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
