Job summary

ALTOUR is a global corporate travel management leader with 1,000+ teammates and a presence in 80+ countries. You will service inbound corporate and government contractor travel requests, delivering consultative service and ensuring bookings align with policies and Fly America Act.

You will secure the lowest rates using client and ALTOUR programs and optimize productivity, quality, and customer experience while handling multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ travel selling experience.
• 5+ years’ customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry.
• Experience with international travel bookings and process.
• Experience with government contractor accounts preferred.
• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
• Exceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approach.
• Excellent travel industry knowledge.
• Mastery in Travelport+ GDS, GDS formats, short cuts, enhancements, pricing.
• Corporate travel experience required; government/government contractor experience preferred.
• Experienced handling of multiple accounts.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to embrace change; adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Service inbound corporate and government contractor travel requests.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service to all ALTOUR clients.
• Greets all clients with enthusiasm.
• Provide consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process.
• Complete all reservations in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring all corporate travel policies are followed.
• Follow applicable guidelines around Federal travel requirements, including the Fly America Act.
• Secure the lowest air/car/hotel rates available at time of booking.
• Utilization of client and ALTOUR negotiated programs when applicable.
• Utilize GDS low fare search capabilities.
• Maintain goal expectations in productivity, quality, and customer experience.
