Lateral Link, a respected international law firm, seeks a mid-level Corporate/M&A/Private Equity Associate for its Chicago office. The ideal candidate will handle private equity deals and cross-border matters, taking a leading role on transactions within a global platform.

Requirements include 3–6 years of private equity and M&A experience, hands-on drafting and negotiating skills, and ability to manage diligence through closing, with responsibility for client communications and deal strategy.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience representing PE funds, institutional investors, and portfolio companies.
• Experience with leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, divestitures, growth investments, and joint ventures.
• Hands-on drafting and negotiating experience on complex M&A and private equity transactions.
• Experience leading diligence, client communications, and negotiation calls.
