Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Corporate Counsel to lead disputes in a fast‑moving global legal team. You will own disputes end‑to‑end, advise on commercial risk, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel across jurisdictions, including the US and NL.

You are admitted in a US jurisdiction with 5+ years of experience, fluent in English, and available to work from our New York office with periodic travel. Equity is included with base salary.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in a US jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of disputes and advise on commercial outcomes.
• Manage disputes across multiple jurisdictions with cross-border coordination.
• Instruct and oversee external counsel, balancing strategy and budget.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve disputes and reduce friction.
• Close risk areas after matter resolution and feed lessons learned.
• Apply AI tools to sharpen the Dispute Resolution process.
• Support the broader Corporate Legal team on governance and initiatives.
• Stay updated on global legal developments affecting Adyen.
