Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to oversee accounting, close, and financial integrity across its global structure from our Louisville, KY office. This role partners with the CAO organization and leads process optimization, internal controls, and standardization efforts.

The position requires travel of about 1 week per month onsite in Louisville, KY, and demands CPA, 8+ years of accounting experience, and 3+ years of people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred or CPA licensure.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years people leadership experience.
• Strong US GAAP expertise and financial reporting skills.
• Experience managing close processes and intercompany/ multis entity accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for global entities and investments.
• Oversee internal controls over financial reporting and risk management.
• Drive standardization and automation of accounting processes.
• Collaborate with regional finance leaders and IT on system improvements.
• Develop and coach accounting staff to build a high-performance team.
