A leading search firm is looking for a Global Controller in New York, NY. This role is pivotal for managing accounting and financial operations in a fast-growing startup environment. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting, and expertise in GAAP compliance. This position offers a competitive salary of $220k-$265k, equity participation, and a flexible benefits package including fully paid medical and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting/finance including audit experience; CPA required.
• Proven experience building or improving an accounting function.
• High-growth or venture/PE-backed company experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and finance organization, partnering closely with the CFO.
• Manage day-to-day accounting and month-end close.
• Advise the CFO and executive team on financial strategy and risk.
