Job summary

DuPont is seeking a Global Contract Manufacturing Leader to steer the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of the Advanced Mobility contract manufacturing network. The role partners across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Technology, Quality, Finance, Product Management, and plant leadership to build a resilient, cost-competitive external network.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, supplier management, or manufacturing technology.
• Experience managing production operations, contract manufacturers, external operations, or strategic suppliers.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, quality systems, and lean/operational excellence.
• Proven ability to lead complex global and cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, negotiation capability, and structured problem solving.
• Ability to build effective relationships across suppliers, manufacturing sites, functions, and senior leadership.
• Experience in specialty materials, chemicals, engineered products, or other technically demanding environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the global contract manufacturing strategy and network.
• Establish governance and scorecards to drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacity.
• Lead cost and productivity initiatives through supplier negotiations and process optimization.
• Partner with Quality and Manufacturing Technology to strengthen process control and continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate risks across the contract manufacturing network.
• Translate growth forecasts into supplier capacity requirements for new products.
• Lead cross-functional improvement efforts with strategic contract manufacturers.
• Provide leadership visibility to performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.
