Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Director of Global Construction & Equipment Services to lead business capabilities, technology platforms, and analytics across construction operations and equipment management.

You will collaborate with operations, corporate services, and Global IT to define roadmaps, manage investments, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that drive field productivity and asset performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related field; 10+ years in enterprise technology or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Business Admin, IT, Construction Management, Engineering or related field (desired).
• Experience defining business capability strategies, product or platform roadmaps, governance, and measurable outcomes in a complex enterprise.
• 7+ years of leadership including managers, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional delivery.
• Experience leading enterprise applications or digital platforms supporting construction operations, equipment management, or fleet operations.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder leadership, negotiation, and change management skills.
• Experience in global, multi-entity environments with enterprise standards vs operating company needs.
• Experience with construction management, project controls, equipment management, ERP or EAM platforms and their integrations.
• Experience establishing data governance, analytics, automation, or AI-enabled capabilities for operations.
• Must possess a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple functional areas; develop policies, manage budgets, and allocate resources.
• Mentor managers, conduct evaluations, and handle promotions and disciplinary actions.
• Contribute to Global IT strategy and invest in service performance and talent development.
• Set global capability strategy and multi-year roadmaps for construction and equipment services.
• Govern portfolio governance, architecture alignment, funding transparency, and value realization.
• Ensure secure, resilient, interoperable solutions aligned with data standards.
• Lead vendor and performance management for platforms and services.
• Oversee reliable day-to-day service delivery and continual improvement.
