Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a Manager, Global Legal & Compliance to support enterprise-wide compliance, risk management, policy governance, and contracting activities within a contract lifecycle management system. Reporting to the General Counsel, Ronald McDonald House Global, this role ensures policies are developed, implemented, and reviewed with strong visibility and cross-functional alignment.

The role requires 3–5 years in compliance, governance, or risk, with a Bachelor’s degree and a preference

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, legal studies, finance or another related field.
• Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar credentials preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in compliance, legal, risk management, corporate governance, or a related function; nonprofit experience preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level compliance, risk, or governance policies.
• Familiarity with vendor agreements, contract lifecycle management, and third-party risk considerations.
• Experience supporting enterprise risk management activities, including risk identification, documentation, and mitigation tracking.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional work and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to design governance frameworks and processes executed by functional owners.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Finance, Technology, Legal, and Operations.
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, discretion, and a strong commitment to ethical business practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and DocuSign; ability to quickly learn and adopt new systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide compliance awareness and risk management activities across Ronald McDonald House Global.
• Support functional owners in identifying, documenting, and managing compliance risks.
• Create, implement, and document policies and procedures in coordination with senior leadership and business leads.
• Establish current and future mitigation activities and document them.
• Provide guidance to the General Counsel on policy updates, training needs, and emerging risks.
• Support insurance coordination, vendor procurement, and contract lifecycle management.
