Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior compensation professional to lead global compensation programs, drive governance and market pricing, and partner with HR, TA, and finance to ensure alignment with business goals. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, reporting, and continuous improvement across compensation planning cycles.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in total rewards, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency with HRIS platforms and compensation surveys.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive compensation/total rewards exp.
  • Experience supporting enterprise compensation programs in a global org.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, salary administration, governance.
  • Experience with Workday Compensation or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Demonstrated analytics with solutions-oriented mindset; translate insights into actions.
  • Familiarity with compensation survey platforms (Radford, Mercer, WTW, Korn Ferry).
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Strong written communication; drafting policies and executive presentations.
  • Experience supporting annual compensation planning cycles and job architecture initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Compensation Team Lead to implement and administer global compensation programs.
  • Drive enhancement of compensation policies, practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Serve as a compensation resource for HR, TA, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure programs align with company philosophy, market practices, and business objectives.
  • Lead annual compensation planning cycle activities: salary adjustments, incentives, equity allocations.
  • Manage budgets, project plans, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track deliverables, dependencies, risks; escalate issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR Operations, HRIS, Finance, Payroll, and regional Total Rewards partners.
  • Support system testing, validation, reporting, training, deployment.
  • Conduct post-cycle analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, compensation analyses for decision making.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, insights for leadership.
  • Support pay equity analyses and governance reviews.
  • Analyze workforce and compensation data to identify trends, risks, opportunities.
  • Advance global job architecture and leveling frameworks; participate in governance processes.
  • Assist with job evaluations and maintain documentation for consistency.
  • Maintain job architecture tools, resources, supporting docs.
  • Draft and maintain compensation plan documents, policies, procedures, guidelines, training materials.
  • Develop communication materials for managers and employees about compensation programs.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, current, aligned with program objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting enterprise compensation programs within a global organization
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, salary administration, and governance
  • Experience with Workday Compensation or similar HRIS platforms
  • Demonstrated analytical capability with a solutions‑oriented mindset and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Familiarity with compensation survey platforms such as Radford, Mercer, WTW, or Korn Ferry
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
