  • Job Description: Global Communications Project Coordinator from The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to support the implementation of communication strategies and tactics outlined in communication plans that advance TNC's Shared Conservation Agenda and 2030 goals. The role involves coordinating content and promotion across the team on a project-by-project basis and collaborating with Global Communications and staff across multiple time zones. The position may include writing, editing, content creation and strategy support as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate diverse projects and activities within Global Communications priorities as outlined by the annual plan.
  • Create visual project presentations in PowerPoint and coordinate recap reports.
  • Assist in management of the project/editorial calendar in Asana.
  • Train in and apply TNC Highly Effective Teams (HET) management style, along with RAPID decision-making tools.
  • Assess gaps and obstacles to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for meeting priority goals and objectives in coordination with Communications Directors and other key team members.
  • Coordinate the work of peers on departmental project teams; may supervise volunteers, interns or temporary staff.
  • Identify issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.
  • Coordinate projects and manage timelines; work within a budget to complete assigned projects.
  • Work with vendors/other parties to execute projects and deliverables.

Salary Information

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $42,000 - $68,000 for annual base salary. This range applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Actual pay will be based on location, qualifications, skills and experience. Countries outside the USA may have a different local currency pay range based on the local labor market. Your geographic location will be confirmed during recruitment.
