WPP Media is seeking a curious, organized Communications Associate to join its U.S. Communications team.

This early-career role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience who can support corporate communications, content, thought leadership, social media, and media relations. Working with the Communications team and partners across the business, this person will help tell the WPP Media story across internal and external channels, creating content that showcases our expertise, people,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise content.
• Curious, culturally connected with interest in media, tech, sports and business.
• Strong research, organization, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day corporate communications and content across channels.
• Draft, edit, and proof content for internal and external audiences, emphasizing LinkedIn.
• Manage WPP Media's LinkedIn presence and content calendars.
• Develop stories showcasing people, expertise, innovation, and client work.
• Support thought leadership with articles, POVs, and executive bylines.
• Monitor news and trends to identify opportunities for coverage.
• Support media outreach, build media lists, and summarize coverage.
• Coordinate communications around announcements, events, and milestones.
• Assist with executive communications materials, briefings, and presentations.
• Gather information from subject matter experts to simplify complex topics.
• Collaborate with marketing and events teams to align messaging.
• Maintain editorial calendars, trackers, and content libraries.
