Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join its US team in Buffalo, NY. The analyst will rotate across live priority projects spanning commodity market research, M&A compliance, and internal process build-out, working directly with senior trade leadership and founders from day one.

Key activities include producing market studies, conducting diligence for potential acquisitions, and designing plans to enter new geographies.

Qualifications

MBA from a leading programme or equivalent experience.
Strong grounding in commodity markets through work or study.
Proven ability to model financials and perform market sizing.

Responsibilities

Produce commodity market studies covering supply and demand fundamentals, pricing trends, and competitive landscape.
Conduct diligence studies on potential acquisitions and new ventures, including financial modelling and unit economics analysis.
Build out plans for entering new geographical markets and expanding commercially, spanning new customer demographics, product sectors, and offtake structures.
Design scalable internal frameworks including modelling pricing and return, investment review, and KPI dashboards, while supporting portfolio businesses on go-to-market strategy, capital raising, and stakeholder engagement.
Role reports to the VP of Strategy.
