Job summary

Siemens Canada is seeking a Junior SCM/Procurement professional to manage material supply, cost optimization, and supplier collaboration across product development and manufacturing cycles.

You will support commodity strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor market trends to achieve cost-efficient on-time material supply. Experience in procurement and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, contract management, and supplier management.
• Knowledge of supplier manufacturing technology and processes is an asset.
• Strong collaboration, persuasion and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supply materials based on customer requirements at the lowest price while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Manage commodity and supplier relationships to optimize costs and ensure transparency.
• Involve procurement early in the product development process and monitor current products to minimize costs.
• Define and implement commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
