Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Global Commodity Manager to lead sourcing strategy for turbine and balance-of-plant components. You will build and manage a global supplier network, drive NPI readiness, and ensure excellence in Quality, Delivery, and Cost across outages and service commitments.

Position requires 7+ years in global sourcing, strong technical knowledge of structures and components, and leadership in negotiations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field required.
7+ years in global sourcing or commodity management.
Strong experience in fabricated structures, machining, mechanical systems, or bearings.
Deep technical understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain constraints for structural components.
Proven leadership in supplier performance, NPI, and strategic negotiations.
Must be fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
US work authorization required; background check and drug screening conducted.

Responsibilities

Build, scale, and maintain a global supplier network.
Serve as executive interface with key supplier partners to align with PROENERGY priorities.
Establish partnerships that enable performance across Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Lead supplier governance, segmentation, and performance reviews.
Identify and onboard new suppliers to support growth, NPI, and risk mitigation.
Drive zero-defect mindset across suppliers for critical turbine components.
Partner with SDQE for supplier qualification, validation, and QMS execution.
Enable SDQE performance through strong supplier relationships and accountability.
Escalate supplier quality issues and drive rapid resolution.
Support NPI readiness with robust APQP/PPAP/FAI execution.
