This is an individual contributor role.

Essential Responsibilities:

Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop comprehensive supplier contractual and strategic relationships to address cost, business risk, and supply continuity
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives
  • Drive supplier selection, development, and overall supplier performance management in partnership with business team members and in accordance with the business strategy
  • Work closely with the business team, in order to ensure the growth of the new plant business segment by having strategic agreements in place and operating smoothly
  • Interface with the sourcing fulfillment team on issues that arise; manage escalations as needed. Help ensure sound fulfillment processes and clean hand-offs are established and maintained to fulfill post Purchase Order scopes of work.
  • Interface with the business on issues of forecasting, planning, strategy alignment
  • Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and technical requirements which may include government purchasing requirements based on the project
  • Interface with customers and regulators as required; ensure sourcing efforts fulfill key customer requirements
  • Support a Lean/Continuous Improvement culture by working cross functionally to improve purchasing process and supporting systems
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college, university, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience with at least 7 years of experience performing sourcing activities, including sourcing in a manufacturing environment, supplier selection, development and evaluation, and contract negotiation

Eligibility Requirements:

  • The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as required.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) projects
  • MBA or Master’s degree or higher in business, engineering or other relevant degree from a regionally accredited college, university, or equivalent
  • Sourcing and supply chain management experience in a high technology and/or highly regulated industry
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills
  • Strong leader capable of working successfully in a matrix organization and as part of a cross-functional team to drive impactful results
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex situations and drive projects to completion, including cost and schedule control
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and Oracle Enterprise Resources Planning System (ERP) systems
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification or equivalent
  • Experience working with customers, regulators, and suppliers in the nuclear business
  • Experience with data analysis and analytics tools, including Tableau and Spotfire or equivalent
  • GE Program graduate, e.g., EEDP, OMLP (GE employees only)

The base pay range for this position is $108,000-140,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 6/12/2025.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
