Job summary

Crunchyroll seeks a Strategy & Operations Director, Global Commerce, to partner with the Executive VP to shape priorities and accelerate execution across consumer products, retail partnerships, licensing, apparel, home goods, and more.

You will drive initiatives, build decision frameworks, and translate complex topics into concise narratives for executive audiences while advancing strategic outcomes through structured, measurable programs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, corporate development, chief of staff, commercial strategy, or related functions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic priorities across the Global Commerce organization.
• Evaluate business opportunities, growth initiatives, partnerships, and investments through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Conduct market, consumer, competitive, and industry research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build business cases, strategic recommendations, and decision frameworks to support executive decision-making.
• Drive high-priority cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Develop operating mechanisms, project plans, milestones, and governance structures that improve organizational effectiveness.
