GardaWorld Security Services in San Jose, CA is hiring a Global Command Security Operations Operator / Patrol to monitor security systems, spot threats, and protect people and property. You will perform GSOC and patrol duties, document incidents, control access, and work with law enforcement as needed.

A state security license, HS diploma or GED, and GSOC experience are required; drivers license is preferred. Uniform provided.

Qualifications

• State security license required with BSIS 32hr trainings.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and provide documentation of HS diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year GSOC experience and 21+ years old.
• Active driver's license and ability to use security systems (Lenel, CCure).
• Experience creating, issuing and collecting badges for guests and staff.
• Strong report writing skills and sharp observation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events with detailed incident reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalated in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Site Location: San Jose, CA
• Schedule: Full-Time, 32 - 40 hours per week
  • Shift one: Wednesday - Sunday, 4:00pm - 12:00am (GSOC)
  • Shift two: Wednesday - Friday, 12:00am - 8:00am (Patrol). Saturday / Sunday, 12:00am - 8:00am (GSOC)
  • Shift three: Monday / Tuesday, 4:00pm - 12:00am (GSOC). Thursday / Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (Patrol)

Responsibilities of Global Command Security Operations Operator / Patrol

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Global Command Security Operations Operator / Patrol

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have one year of GSOC experience
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have active driver's license
• Must experience using systems like Lenel, CCure and similar systems
• Must have experience creating, issuing and collecting badges for new employees, visitors, vendors & contractors
• Please include your most up to date GSOC operator resume
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
