Job summary

Teradyne seeks a Technical Contract Manufacturer Manager to oversee operations with contract manufacturers globally, ensuring Teradyne's manufacturing plan is met. The role covers supply chain planning, metrics, and collaboration with CFT to optimize yields and efficiency.

Role involves travel to Asia roughly quarterly and reports to HQ in North Reading, MA. Base salary ranges significantly with experience, plus discretionary bonus and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of operations experience.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Lean and 5S knowledge preferred.
• Experience with PCBA and electromechanical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain operational relationships with the contract manufacturer (CM).
• Act as main technical contact for the CM and Teradyne; provide regular status reports.
• Develop, maintain and review stability metrics for operations.
• Devise effective materials planning and execution to deliver automated test equipment.
• Coordinate activities to ensure supply chain problems are identified and resolved.
