Job summary

AMD is seeking a hybrid leader in Global Cluster Engineering to manage programs and build/operate web platforms for cluster tooling and content. You will collaborate across design, validation, and product engineering to meet objectives.

The role blends technical program management with full-stack web engineering, requiring strong communication and delivery of initiatives from concept to execution. Austin, TX / NJ / WA locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering; or related field.
• Project Management education, PMP or equivalent certification/training is an asset
• Experience with full-stack web development and IT infrastructure is preferred

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and drive program plans with guidance from senior technical leaders.
• Scope technical requirements with SW/HW architects and engineers.
• Maintain a comprehensive program plan with artifacts like plan of record and budgets.
• Plan for risks and mitigate to maintain schedule.
• Collaborate with AMD Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Engineering teams.
• Promote cross-team collaboration across global SMEs, marketing, and support staff.
• Report status and issues to leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Administer web services including deployment and maintenance.
• Integrate cluster systems with web apps, APIs, and business systems.
• Develop and optimize web pages and applications for cluster designs.
