Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, Washington seeks a Principal leader to own logistics network optimization strategy for AWS Cloud Logistics. You will connect transportation, warehousing and manufacturing across a global portfolio, guiding multi-year roadmaps and programs that scale the network to meet AWS capacity demands.

You will influence VP+ leaders, partner with tech teams and 3PLs, and drive data-driven decisions, while mentoring teams to deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced, high-visibility

Qualifications

• 10+ years of supply chain experience or a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with program management spanning planning, execution and project delivery.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of cross-functional experience with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term logistics network optimization strategy, including facility placement and routing.
• Lead complex, cross-functional programs spanning multiple teams, milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Partner with engineering and technology teams to implement optimization tools and data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with operations to translate network design into actionable, scalable operations.
• Communicate strategy and trade-offs to senior leadership with clear written narratives.
• Mentor and develop team members to uphold operational excellence and delivery.
