Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials in Durham, NC seeks a seasoned Project Manager to oversee Phase I–IV clinical trials, locally or globally. You will drive cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule and budget, and ensure on-time, quality delivery for clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in pharmaceutical project management, strong ICH/GCP knowledge, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Fluent English is required; life science background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of clinical pharmaceutical industry experience including demonstrated skills and competency in clinical project management tasks.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
• Thorough knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP and international regulatory requirements for clinical development.
• Valid passport and ability to drive with a valid license.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead core project team members and facilitate their ability to lead extended/complete project team.
• Lead cross unit coordination both internal and external, inclusive of sub-contractors.
• Define and manage project resource needs in conjunction with functional heads and establish contingency plans for key resources.
• Ensure successful design, implementation, tracking and revision of project plans for assigned projects.
• Promote effective teamwork among project team members; resolve conflicts as needed.
• Ensure appropriate communication on project-related matters with the PM Management.
