Job summary

Alira Health is seeking a Project Manager to join our Clinical team in the Boston area. The PM will ensure efficient implementation of study protocols, collaborate across the clinical team, and serve as the main contact for sponsors and vendors.

The role requires a BS/BA in life sciences, 3 years in pharma/CRO with at least 1 year of management experience, and strong English communication. Travel and audits may be involved.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in life sciences or related discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology/CRO with 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical research studies to ensure they are conducted within scope, budget, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as study lead and primary contact for sponsors.
• Oversee functions such as data management, pharmacovigilance, and central laboratory.
• Prepare and present study status updates to sponsors; provide monthly billing information.
• Supervise and train Associate PMs and Clinical team members.
• Ensure compliance with ICH GCP, FDA regulations, and company SOPs.
