Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Manager, Clinical Programs to oversee global clinical trial execution for diagnostics. You will lead a team of clinical study managers, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive milestones across US and EU markets in digital pathology, IHC & ISH, and CDx programs.

The role reports to the Director, Clinical Development within Global Clinical Affairs and is fully remote. Strong leadership and collaboration across functions are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field with 7+ years’ clinical research experience (US/EU).
• Alternatively, Master’s/Doctoral degree with 5+ years of same experience.
• 4+ years direct leadership experience, managing clinical study managers.
• Deep understanding of clinical study execution in the diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries for US/EU markets.
• Ability to review and interpret scientific data and oversee study protocols/reports.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of multiple clinical studies within assigned programs for Digital Pathology, IHC & ISH, CDx, and Medical Device.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of clinical study managers.
• Ensure studies are conducted per ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, SOPs, and study protocols.
• Manage program timelines, budgets, and resources; mitigate risks to study execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless study conduct and data integrity.
• Oversee site selection and management for clinical trial activities.
