Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate Director Clinical Program Manager to lead the operational planning and delivery of multiple clinical studies, ensuring timelines, budget, quality, and strategy are met. The role requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration across study teams.

You will identify delivery risks, drive course-corrections, and oversee budgets, vendors, and forecasting while mentoring Study Delivery Leads to achieve high performance.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or High School with extensive clinical execution leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ direct people management and/or leadership of teams, projects, or resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of multiple clinical studies/programs with timelines, budget, quality, and strategy.
• Identify risks and guide course-corrections to keep studies on track.
• Drive high-quality operational practices across studies and programs.
• Line-manage Study Delivery Leads and set clear objectives for performance.
• Oversee program-level issues, risks, and escalation with timely resolutions.
• Partner with cross-functional and local teams to align priorities and resources.
• Provide strategic input on study design, country selection, enrolment, diversity, and patient-centric approaches.
• Manage program budgets, vendor relationships, and forecasting with continuous improvement.
