Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Director, Global Clinical Physician to provide medical accountability and oversight across multiple trials, from Phase 1 to 3. This role requires matrix management across internal and external networks and leadership within study delivery teams.

You will collaborate with Clinical Scientists to design protocols, assess safety outcomes, and ensure adherence to GCP. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• MD required (or x-US equivalent).
• Strong leadership and communication skills in scientific/clinical settings.
• Experience designing and leading clinical development plans and protocols.
• Expertise in drug development processes and regulatory considerations.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proven ability to lead and influence in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Medical accountability for multiple trials (Phase 1–3).
• Lead study delivery teams and collaborate with Clinical Scientists.
• Review trial data for safety and eligibility issues.
• Contribute to protocol development and medical strategy.
• Ensure GCP compliance and training across the team.
• Engage with Health Authorities and prepare regulatory narratives.
