Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States is seeking a Global Clinical Supplies Digital Transformation Leader to drive the strategy and execution of digital initiatives across the GCS roadmap.

You will partner with IT, GCS business leaders, and external vendors to deliver scalable digital solutions on time and within budget. Responsibilities include leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing SDLC and GxP alignment, change management, and tracking KPIs to demonstrate adoption, efficiency, and ROI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/manufacturing environments.
• Minimum of 5 years leading major technology implementations or digital transformation in clinical supply chain or pharma operations.
• Strong track record delivering digital projects using Agile/Scrum or waterfall methodologies.
• Understanding of ERP (SAP), RTSM/IRT systems, or advanced data platforms.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct line authority.
• GxP knowledge and CSV practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of critical digital initiatives within the GCS roadmap from business-case to implementation.
• Orchestrate matrixed teams of GCS business experts, IT partners, data scientists, and external vendors to deliver capabilities.
• Coordinate change impact assessments and end-user adoption strategies with stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for projects to measure adoption, efficiency, and ROI.
• Ensure GCS systems comply with GxP requirements and contribute to SDLC deliverables with IT partners.
