MiniMed is seeking a Principal Clinical Contract Analyst in Minnesota to lead the development, negotiation, and execution of complex clinical trial agreements and budgets for global studies. You will partner with clinical operations, legal, finance, and study teams to ensure studies are initiated quickly, conducted in compliance, and aligned with company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 6+ years contracts or regulatory relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years contracts or regulatory relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts
• Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepares bids, processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data and maintains historical information.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining deliverables of assignments, with limited oversight from manager.
• Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level specialists.
• Contributes to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy with a significant impact on work group results.
• May manage large projects or processes that span outside of immediate job area.
• Develops solutions to moderately complex problems, and/or makes moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products independently to enhance performance of job area.
• Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels.
