Job summary

Capital Group in Irvine, CA is seeking a Strategic Client Relationship RFP Manager within Global Client Services. You will lead, coach, and develop a multi-location team responsible for RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs, partnering with Sales, Product, Data, Legal & Compliance to align strategies and drive efficiency.

You bring 8–10 years of progressive RFP experience, leadership across locations, and deep expertise in process governance, content strategy, and AI-enabled proposals.

As a Strategic Client Relationship RFP Manager within Global Client Services (GCS), you will lead, coach, and develop a multi-location team responsible for RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs that clearly communicate Capital Group's investment capabilities. You'll partner with business leaders across Sales, Product, Data, Legal & Compliance, and Marketing to anticipate client needs, strengthen proposal strategy, improve content quality, and use AI, automation, and scalable practices to drive efficiency and growth across the distribution business.

Please note, this role does require you to work in office, Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work from home on Friday.

• You've led and scaled high-performing RFP teams across multiple locations while developing talent and driving continuous improvement.

• You bring deep expertise in RFP, RFI, and DDQ processes, including content strategy, governance, quality assurance, and workflow management.

• You have experience with proposal technologies, content platforms, automation, and AI that improve quality and scale.

• You're skilled at partnering across Sales, Product, Data, Legal, and Compliance to align stakeholders and support business needs.

• You bring broad investment knowledge across Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset strategies and can communicate portfolio positioning clearly.

• You thrive in fast-paced, global environments and bring strong judgment, communication, and leadership.

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $179,273-$286,837

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
