Cohere is a security-first enterprise AI company seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to shape security strategy across cloud, on‑prem, and AI development. You will build trust across the organization and communicate trade-offs where speed, innovation, and security must coexist.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a CISO or senior security leader in high-growth tech
• Experience building enterprise security programs and scaling security capabilities
• Deep expertise in cloud security, DevSecOps, enterprise infrastructure, and AI/ML security
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, governance expectations, and compliance requirements
• Experience with IPO readiness and large security org leadership

• Define and scale Cohere’s information security strategy aligned with business goals
• Build a modern risk governance and compliance program across functions
• Secure AI systems and technical infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments
