Job summary

ODL is seeking a Director of Continuous Improvement to develop and drive a structured CI strategy across its global manufacturing sites. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Product Management and Supply Chain to standardize problem solving, value stream mapping and daily management.

You will lead Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives, move beyond tools, and foster culture change with measurable results in quality, delivery, and cost while enabling scalable growth across all sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain or related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing/ops with 5+ years leading CI/operational excellence or transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt facilitator.
• Build and execute a multi-year CI strategy and roadmap across global sites.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and problem-solving methodologies.
• Standardize manufacturing processes and governance to enable scalable growth.
• Drive value stream mapping to reduce lead times and optimize end-to-end flow.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and Lean transformation initiatives with measurable impact.
• Establish CI governance with prioritization, resourcing and financial validation.
• Partner with site leaders to improve key metrics like OTIF, scrap, and inventory.
• Coach leaders to sustain improvements across ODL sites.
• Develop CI Champions and foster accountability for continuous improvement.
