Harley-Davidson Motor Company seeks a Chief Counsel, Compliance, to lead a global integrity program, reporting to the Chief Legal, Compliance & Corporate Affairs Officer. This role oversees trade compliance, cyber and privacy, AI governance, records management, and legal operations from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

You will drive enterprise-wide risk management, partner with IT and business units, manage outside counsel, implement matter workflows, and mentor the compliance and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school required.
• Licensed to practice law in the United States, in good standing with a State bar, and ability to become a member of the Wisconsin State bar.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global integrated compliance function aligned to enterprise risk priorities.
• Oversee sanctions and export-controls compliance; partner on cyber and privacy requirements; oversee incident response.
• Lead global data privacy function and AI governance; manage records retention, legal hold, and information governance with IT and business units.
• Oversee legal operations, including department-technology, outside-counsel management, and budgeting.
• Drive process improvements, metrics, and efficiency across legal and compliance functions.
