Merck is seeking a Senior Director, Functional Area Geography Lead, GDMS Clinical Data Management. This role provides strategic direction to ensure data-management delivery, quality, and compliance while optimizing resources across the assigned country.

The incumbent will lead geographic strategy, governance, and cross-functional collaboration, driving innovation and performance in data management, talent development, and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with substantial data management experience.
• Experience leading clinical data management and large global teams.
• 5 years of people management experience.
• Familiarity with ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction within the assigned geography; ensure quality and compliance.
• Lead cross-functional collaborations to achieve geographic objectives.
• Oversee workforce planning, resource management, and operational performance.
