Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead LCO/Sterile category strategies and partnerships in a regulated environment. You will drive 3–5 year roadmaps, optimize investments, and collaborate with external manufacturers and internal teams.

You bring 10+ years in pharma procurement, demonstrate supplier leadership, and handle complex negotiations. This role is on-site in Parsippany, NJ with strong cross-functional exposure and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement/category management/strategic sourcing or supply chain in pharma or regulated industries.
• Experience managing External Manufacturing (EXM) and/or CMO/CDMO partnerships and supplier relationships.
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives, cross-functional projects, and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned LCO/Sterile category technologies; serve as Teva category SME.
• Develop and execute 3–5 year category strategies and savings/improvement roadmaps.
• Support demand planning, supplier capacity assessments, and sourcing roadmaps to optimize investment and P&L.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing on RFx activities, negotiations, contracts, supplier selection, and award decisions.
• Define supplier management strategies; guide performance management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain market intelligence (capabilities, capacity trends, regulations) and identify supplier opportunities using SRM.
• Partner cross-functionally (External Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Business) to communicate plans, risks, trade-offs, and drive category value.
• Track/report category performance and deliver multi-year cost reduction plans with Finance.
