Job summary

Wanzl North America in Newton, NC seeks a Project Manager - Carts to lead cross-functional product development projects from ideation through production, ensuring scope, schedule, and budgets are met. You will organize activities, coordinate resources across global teams, and present progress to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree and 6+ years of experience in project management, including 2+ years in product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• 6+ years of work experience with at least 3+ years of practical project management; 2+ years in Product Development.
• PMP certification and/or MBA preferred.
• Proven ability to close projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with plastic injection tooling and production preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project phases from initiation to closure.
• Create project plans with deliverables, activities, timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate resources and stakeholders across the global network.
• Produce status reports and updates for leadership and customers.
• Lead risk identification, escalation and resolution.
• Present to customers, leadership, and the Management Board in Germany.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
