Job summary

Amperesand, Inc. is seeking a Global Supply Manager for Capital Expenditures to own end-to-end sourcing for manufacturing equipment, test systems, and facility construction. You will coordinate with engineering and operations to ensure assets meet cost and timeline targets.

The role requires leadership in procurement strategy, negotiation of contracts, and strong financial acumen to optimize total cost of ownership across Capex categories. On-site work is required with global travel potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in capital procurement, supply chain, or program management.
• Experience sourcing capital equipment and/or managing construction or facility procurement.
• Startup or NPI-stage experience with building processes from the ground up.
• Strong financial acumen with TCO modeling and capital budgeting.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with complex supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of high-value capital equipment.
• Develop multi-year capital procurement roadmaps aligned with production plans.
• Negotiate and execute contracts with strategic suppliers and terms.
• Conduct total cost of ownership modeling and make-vs-buy analysis.
• Manage indirect spend categories including tooling and engineering services.
• Oversee facility construction procurement and equipment installation schedules.
• Optimize total cost across Capex, tariffs, logistics and quality.
• Support equipment deployment coordination (FAT, SAT) throughout projects.
• Assess market trends and supply risks; build mitigation strategies.
• Create tools to provide visibility into Capex spend and supplier performance.
• Track KPIs like budget vs. spend, delivery, and quality.
