Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in the United States seeks a Global Category Manager, Capital & COE, to oversee Global Capital Procurement and drive category strategies across regions. You will collaborate with regional teams to optimize supplier performance and streamline CAPEX processes using SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass and PowerSteering.

The role focuses on delivering cost reductions, evaluating bids, and leading a Center of Excellence for CAPEX with strong cross-functional engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, supply management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in capital projects.
• Strong financial and business acumen related to procurement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on capital plan and execute sourcing events to reduce cost and improve service and quality.
• Develop, execute, and evaluate competitive bids with recommendations to business partners.
• Guide the business through the sourcing process and provide insights, tools, and process support.
• Develop centralized category management and strategies for key equipment.
• Build and develop talent reporting to the global category manager.
• Support supplier performance reviews and risk assessments at the supplier level.
• Collaborate with regional category managers to execute regional strategy.
