Job summary

Philips seeks a Global CAPA Coach to lead CAPA training and coaching across the organization, strengthening first-time-right execution and regulatory compliance. The role partners with Business, Factory, and Regional Quality leaders to plan and implement improvements enabling global teams to deliver effective CAPAs that support patient safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the medical device industry, with at least 3 years as a CAPA Facilitator/Owner or CAPA management role.
• Strong knowledge of medical device regulations, CAPA, and core QMS disciplines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and statistical capabilities; proficient in Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with AI capabilities and data-driven improvement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and advise CAPA role holders to drive first-time-right CAPA execution and compliant documentation.
• Develop and deliver instructor-led training, coaching, and communication materials; monitor effectiveness and readiness.
• Collaborate with CAPA process owners, QA leaders, and regional teams to improve program performance and audit readiness.
• Track CAPA health metrics, aging, recurrence, and behavior, and support governance forums and audits.
• Communicate expectations and lessons learned using CAPA governance resources and shared tools.
