Job summary

Ormco is seeking a Global Business Team Director for Brackets & Wires to own the global fixed‑appliance portfolio, driving revenue, margin, and market share. You will shape strategy, partner with regional teams, and lead a two‑person product management group across lifecycle stages.

You will translate customer and clinical insights into opportunities, guide investments, and oversee global launches to accelerate adoption and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in product management, portfolio management, marketing, or general management within dental/orthodontics/medical devices.
• Direct experience with brackets and wires and the orthodontic market is required.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Global or multi-region business leadership experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global strategy for Ormco’s Brackets & Wires portfolio, with accountability for revenue, gross margin, profitability, and market-share growth.
• Identify where to play and how to win, translating customer, clinical, and competitive insights into clear business priorities.
• Own portfolio strategy across pricing, segmentation, lifecycle management, SKU rationalization, and investment decisions.
• Partner with regional and country commercial leaders to drive customer acquisition, increase share of wallet, and accelerate growth.
• Shape the innovation roadmap with R&D by translating customer, KOL, and clinical insights into new product opportunities.
• Build strong business cases and make investment trade-offs across products, marketing, operations, people, and capital.
• Lead global product launches and work with regional teams to turn innovation into adoption and revenue.
• Align R&D, Operations & Supply Chain, Regulatory, Finance, Marketing, and Sales around shared business priorities.
• Lead and develop a team of two Product Managers with clear ownership across the portfolio.

This is a high-impact business leadership role for someone who understands the orthodontic market and wants the opportunity to own a global portfolio. Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience across product management, portfolio management, marketing, or general management within dental, orthodontics, or medical devices
• Direct experience with brackets and wires and the orthodontic market is required
• 5+ years of people leadership experience
• Global or multi-region business leadership experience is highly desirable
• Experience influencing and leading across functions and geographies in a matrixed organization
• Demonstrated ownership of business results, including P&L or revenue and margin accountability
• Strong track record of driving growth through portfolio strategy, pricing, innovation, commercialization, and lifecycle management
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

For Field Sales roles, the salary range listed reflects base pay only and does not include incentive pay opportunities under the applicable sales compensation plan.
