Job summary

King & Spalding LLP is seeking a Business Continuity and Travel Coordinator in Atlanta to oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans. You will work with the Director of BC, Travel and Special Projects to assess risks, design recovery strategies, and coordinate travel operations across offices.

The role requires 1–3 years in a professional services setting, strong communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a professional services environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Independent worker with solid judgment.
• Prior law firm or corporate travel program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and annually update business continuity and disaster recovery plans for all firm offices.
• Coordinate and lead annual training for Crisis Managers for all firm offices.
• Maintain AED licenses and number of trained personnel firmwide.
• Assist Office Leads and Functional Leaders to react to and assist with crises and coordinate support.
• Manage the K&S Preparedness Portal and conduct monthly audits of registrations.
• Maintain Crisis Leader Teams page and monthly contact lists.
• Monitor annual certification completion for Crisis Managers on the Preparis Site.
• Lead Disaster Recovery/BC new hire orientation weekly.
• Monitor news and weather daily for potential issues.
• Attend Crisis Leaders’ tabletop exercises and manage action items.
