Job summary

Atoms is looking for a Benefits Manager to oversee global benefits programs and manage vendor relationships. This role includes designing and implementing programs, handling renewals, and ensuring compliance.

Located in San Francisco, you will play a key part in enhancing Atoms’s benefits philosophy and managing a small team. The base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 per year, and benefits include health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, or managing global benefits programs across multiple countries.
• Experience managing benefits vendors and brokers, including renewals and negotiations.
• Experience with open enrollment, benefits renewals, and program administration.
• Ability to partner with HR, Finance, and leadership to support benefits strategy and operations.
• Experience improving benefits processes and working with HRIS or benefits platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage benefits brokers, vendors & carrier representative relationships.
• Design and implement global programs that support Atoms’s benefits philosophy.
• Manage Global and US annual renewals and lead US open enrollment planning.
• Oversee US Compliance filings and Audits (ie: 5500 or state filings).
• Provide guidance to the People team on benefits administration responsibilities.
• Manage and administer the global design and implementation of benefit plan programs.
• Conduct benchmarking, gap analysis & make recommendations for Atoms programs.
• Seek process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Manage a small team of benefit associates.
