Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in New York seeks a data-driven strategist to partner with senior business leaders, influence priorities, and shape growth strategies at scale. You will translate complex analytics into actionable insights, driving measurable impact across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, and Markets.

You will build TAM/wallet models, analyze market dynamics, and develop dashboards to support banker decision-making and strategic agendas.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience focusing on data-driven strategy and analytics.
  • Expertise in revenue analytics, market sizing, TAM and wallet modelling.
  • Experience with financial statements, public filings, and AI/LLM tools for insights.
  • Experience building data models (SQL, Python, Alteryx) and visualisations (Tableau, Qlik).
  • Ability to translate analyses into executive-level recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify banking opportunities by integrating indicators with deal activity and signals.
  • Develop insights from payments flows, filings, and external data sources.
  • Create TAM, wallet, and share-of-wallet models to guide banker focus.
  • Monitor market and capital markets developments to inform strategy.

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify actionable global banking opportunities such as sell‑side M&A, take‑private situations, and IPO candidates by integrating internal client indicators with external deal activity, valuation signals, and sector dynamics.
  • Develop market and product insights by analysing proprietary payment flows, public filings, and external data sources to uncover FX hedging, capital markets, and broader corporate finance opportunities.
  • Create market sizing, total addressable market (TAM), wallet, and share‑of‑wallet models to guide banker focus and inform strategic prioritisation.
  • Monitor market, sector, and capital markets developments to generate timely insights that influence client engagement and product strategy.
  • Design and enhance banker coverage models, prioritisation frameworks, and territory strategies to optimise resource deployment and improve revenue productivity.
  • Design and build analytical workflows, dashboards, and opportunity assessments that support banker decision‑making at scale.
  • Drive complex analytical and strategic problem‑solving efforts and translate outputs into concise, actionable recommendations for executive audiences.
  • Partner with leaders across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, and Markets to ensure insights directly inform strategic agendas and client engagement.
  • Lead initiatives from ideation through execution ensuring analytical rigour, clarity of outcomes, and alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • 3+ years of experience with a leading management consulting firm, top‑tier bank, or private equity firm focusing on data‑driven strategy and advanced analytics development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in revenue‑driven analytics, market sizing, TAM and wallet modelling, and capital markets data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including hands‑on experience with large datasets, financial statements, public filings, and AI/LLM tools for insight generation.
  • Demonstrated experience in building data models (SQL, Python, Alteryx) and visualisations (Tableau, Qlik).
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex analyses into clear, executive‑level insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Proven track record of partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders across banking and product organisations.
  • Experience in financial services with exposure to capital markets, corporate banking, or payments.
  • Proficient understanding and application of fundamental AI and ML techniques (e.g., NLP, time series, supervised learning, LLM).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, engineering or related fields.

  • Experience in financial services with exposure to capital markets, corporate banking, or payments.
